The Boys & Girls Club of Whittier & Pico Rivera has been part of this community for generations. We run after-school and summer programs across 25 locations, partnering with 3 local school districts so kids have somewhere safe, engaging, and worthwhile to be when school lets out.
Our three focus areas — Academic Success, Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles — aren't just categories. They're a commitment. A commitment that every young person who walks through our doors will be challenged, supported, and seen.
We serve youth ages 6 to 18. And we believe every one of them has the potential to do something great.

At our @norwalkyal site, Jason and Jacob have become an important part of the STEM Learning Lab team, consistently showing up with positivity, responsibility, and a willingness to help wherever they’re needed. Whether they’re supporting younger members with homework, assisting during classroom rotations, or helping staff keep activities running smoothly, their impact is felt every day.
Their growth is a great example of what happens when teens are given opportunities to lead, serve, and build real-world skills. We’re proud to see Jason and Jacob stepping up and making a meaningful difference for the younger members around them. 🌟
At BGCW, we’re not only creating spaces for young people to learn, we’re helping them discover the kind of leaders they can become.
