Healthy Habits

Our Healthy Habits Program motivates Club members to develop healthy attitudes and behaviors about nutrition, which ultimately result in positive lifestyle changes.

 

Nutrition

Thanks to a partnership with Revolution Foods, the Club is able to provide our members with a FREE nutritional snack everyday (we also provide free lunch to all members on the days we are open during academic holidays and summer program). Hunger can have a devastating effect on a young person’s ability to do well in school, enjoy sports related activities, and build strong and healthy interpersonal relations, which is why we are always ready to feed our kids if they are in need.

Sports

The Boys & Girls Club of Whittier's sports leagues are designed to build confidence, promote healthy and friendly competition, and encourage positive behavior.  League participation is free to all Club members and focus on fun, fitness, equal participation and skill development. Games are held on weekdays and on the occasional Saturday. Jerseys are provided. Register now at the Club!
