In addition to our operations team, the Boys & Girls Club of Whittier is fortunate to have a strong team of part-time employees who are responsible for program implementation on a daily basis. These young men and women are current college students, pursuing varying degrees of higher education, while furthering the goals of Academic Success, Character & Citizenship development, and the formation of Healthy Lifestyles for the more than 2,000 youth we serve each year.

Simply Speaking, Sid Menzies Talks About BGCW

After being at the Club for more than 23 years, the greatest gift I have received is the relationships that I have built with the kids and the staff. When everything is said and done, at the end of the day I ask myself the question, “Did I make a difference in someone’s life today?” Inevitably, my answer is always “Yes” and even after 23 years, that is all I need to get out of bed each morning and come to the greatest place to work.
